Thailand chaired the ASEAN side at the 17th ASEAN-China FTA Joint Committee (ACFTA-JC) meeting held on 23-24 July 2026, co-chaired with China’s Ministry of Commerce. The meeting focused on advancing ACFTA 3.0 negotiations with a target for the upgraded agreement to enter into force in 2026, alongside measures to facilitate business under the FTA.
