Taiwan’s Ministry of Economic Affairs Trade Remedy Committee made a preliminary affirmative determination that domestic industries have suffered material injury from imports of certain cold-rolled stainless steel flat products from Vietnam. The investigation covering January 2023 to June 2026 found import volumes surged and prices fell below domestic levels, eroding market share and widening losses. The case will now be referred to the Ministry of Finance for a dumping investigation.
