The Swiss Federal Council initiated a consultation process on the plurilateral WTO Agreement on Electronic Commerce (ECA), which establishes a common digital trade regulatory framework among 67 WTO members. The consultation runs until 28 January 2027. The agreement aims to enhance legal certainty for businesses engaged in digital trade.
