WTO Import Licensing Committee addresses notifications, trade concerns, and transparency

The WTO Committee on Import Licensing met on 15 October 2026 to review member notification practices and challenges, drawing on findings from a recent workshop for government officials. The Committee also examined trade concerns and discussed lessons from experience-sharing sessions on improving communication, public-private engagement, and access to import licensing information.
