Canadian Trade Minister Maninder Sidhu participated in the 15th ASEAN Economic Ministers-Canada Meeting in Manila, advancing FTA negotiations with both ASEAN and the Philippines. A bilateral agreement with the Philippines was brought closer during the visit. The minister also met with senior Filipino government and business leaders.
