Korea Trade Commission Recommends Anti-Dumping Duties of 4.93–8.41% on Seamless Copper Pipes from Thailand

South Korea’s Trade Commission voted at its 474th meeting to recommend anti-dumping duties of 4.93–8.41% for five years on seamless copper pipes imported from Thailand, citing material injury to domestic industry including market share decline and reduced operating profits. Provisional anti-dumping duties of 3.64–8.41% have been in effect since March following a preliminary determination in January. The product is widely used in air conditioners, refrigerators, heat exchangers, and HVAC systems.
