India’s DGFT has issued a policy notice establishing the procedure for allocating import quotas for Calcined Petroleum Coke (CPC) for the aluminium industry and Raw Petroleum Coke for CPC manufacturing for financial year 2026-27. The notice sets out the quota allocation mechanism for these controlled imports. This constitutes a formal non-tariff measure governing market access for petroleum coke products.
